- CTW
- Churches Together in Woodley brings together all the Christian Churches in Woodley, with both lay and ordained representatives attending four meetings a year. The purpose is to encourage and enable ecumenical activities and to promote friendship and understanding across denominational boundaries.
- LEP
- A local ecumenical partnership (or project) is a partnership between churches of different denominations.
- PCC - Parochial Church Council
- The Parochial Church Council or PCC, is the executive body of a Church of England parish. It consists of the clergy and churchwardens of the parish, together with a number of representatives of the church elected by the congregation at the annual parochial church meeting (APCM) of the parish.
- DCC - District Church Council
- If a parish comprises two or more places of worship or churches then individual councils can be set up for the districts in which each place of worship or church is situated to exercise such functions as may be delegated by the parochial church council.
- APCM - Annual Parochial Church Meeting
- Yearly meeting of all the members of the church(es) in a parish who are on the electoral roll. Votes in the members of the PCC and hears reports on the year's activities.
