Puppets

Emmanuel's puppet group, Wide-Mouthed & Stringless, was formed in September 2006 by Marie Etchels. The group meets each Thursday evening at Emmanuel Centre.

Performances mainly take place in Emmanuel's all-age Sunday services, but the group have also performed at the 2007 Springboard event at St John's, at the Woodley Carnival, the Woodley Winter Extravaganza and also at a scout group.

For the last two years the group has attended the European Puppet Ministry Festival held in Wokingham, where it competed for the first time in 2007 and won a silver award!
